In Remembrance

One year ago today, 17 year old Brittney walked out of the Family Dollar Store in Jennings never to be seen alive again;  sometime after 5:30 pm that day, she was abducted.  Thirteen agonizing days passed as her family and a concerned public held out hope that Brittney was safe and would be located soon.  Sadly, on November 15, 2008 her deceased body was found in a grassy area just outside of Jennings.  These 13 burning candles represent the 13 days she was missing.  Please keep Brittney’s family in your thoughts and prayers in the coming days.

17 Year Old Brittney Gary Murdered

17 year old Brittney Gary became the 7th victim (and youngest) in a series of seemingly connected deaths in Jeff Davis Parish Louisiana.

What, or who, did this young woman know that made it necessary to murder her?

Who knew she had moved back “to town”….less than a week earlier?

Does the killer live along the route Brittney would have taken to and from the store?

Did she hop into someone’s vehicle?

And……I guess…..my biggest question…….WHY, OH WHY was this young lady walking alone at dark?  Especially with knowledge of the other mysterious deaths looming over the small town of Jennings…….why?
